Project: Outdoor Advertising, Education
PlanetFab was thrilled to be approached by Global Community Charter School, an International Baccalaureate (IB) school located in Harlem, to design an innovative outdoor advertising campaign for the upcoming academic school year.
Global Community Charter School was seeking a fresh approach to attract families and students looking for a unique and challenging educational experience. To meet this challenge, PlanetFab developed the concept dubbed “Get The World,” which perfectly captured the school’s vision of an IB education that prepares students for the global stage. We complemented this with the tagline “Harlem Hearts, Global Minds,” reflecting the school’s unwavering commitment to its beloved Harlem community.
PlanetFab then transformed this concept into a series of bus shelter ads using the school’s brand colors, new bold typography, and students reaching up to the words “Get The World.” The clever and playful illustration of a globe in the O of WORLD further emphasized the message and added a touch of whimsy to the overall design.
The engaging copy reinforced the school’s mission to provide a challenging and unique educational experience, empowering students to achieve their full potential. The campaign was displayed throughout the Harlem area, ensuring maximum visibility to potential families and students.
Overall, we are incredibly proud of the impact this innovative campaign has had in attracting new students and families to Global Community Charter School. It was an honor to work with such a forward-thinking institution and help them communicate their mission to the world.
